41° Conference AIM

We are pleased to invite researchers, industry professionals, and stakeholders to attend the 41st AIM National Conference, taking place in Brescia, Italy, from 9 to 11 September 2026. This prestigious event will bring together experts from across the metallurgy, steel, and energy sectors to discuss the latest advances in research and innovation.

A highlight of the conference will be the presentation "Integrated Waste Heat Recovery in Steel Production: The THERMAX Approach", delivered by M. Gili during the Materials for Energy session on 10 September 2026 at 16:50. The presentation will showcase how the THERMAX project is developing innovative solutions to recover and valorise waste heat from steelmaking processes, contributing to increased energy efficiency and industrial decarbonisation. We look forward to sharing THERMAX's latest achievements and engaging with the metallurgical community.

Don't miss this opportunity to discover how innovative heat recovery technologies can support the transition towards a more sustainable steel industry.
